Two bomb blasts have resulted in the deaths of at least 20 individuals in Balochistan province, Pakistan, just before the general elections, according to authorities.
The initial explosion claimed the lives of 12 individuals outside the campaign office of an independent candidate in Pishin district.
Another blast occurred in Qillah Saif Ullah district, approximately 150km (93 miles) away, causing the death of eight people. Numerous others sustained injuries in these incidents.
The electoral process has been tainted by violence and allegations of electoral fraud.
